Matthew's new room!

Ever since Matthew was born, he has loved music. For his 1st birthday he got a play guitar and loves it! So we decided that he was an aspiring little rockstar like his daddy. These pictures don't have good lighting but here are a few shots from his newly decorated room. (the twins are going in his old room b/c there is more space). We had just painted this room a brown color about 2 weeks before we found out we were pregnant. Instead of repainting, we stuck with it and I think the off-white furniture looks awesome with it. You know I'm a bargain shopper, along with my mother-in-law, who is queen bargain shopper, so I think we spent a total of $100 for the entire room! If you are wondering how, I will explain!
The crib was borrowed from a very good friend. The crib bedding was $60 for ALL of it. Including the blanket on the bed and our basket to hold diapers. The twin bedding was pieced together from my linen closet and the bedspread was given to me by a friend who was taking it to goodwill. I bought ribbon for $1 and it looks like a pottery barn bed spread.

The curtains were half off at BB&B- $30 total. The chair was also given to me from a friend and I repainted it antique white to match. My sweet friend recovered the fabric as a gift. Matt hung his electric guitar last night to finish off the rockstar look.
We have had this awesome dresser since we got married, which was passed down to us by Matt's parents- matches perfectly!
And of course I had to paint something for his room- so I found some old paintings that weren't very good- primed them and repainted the guitars and initial. Voila! We have a new room for under $100!

Wolfpack boys!

My boys in their gear just before the game! We taught him how to do 'touchdown' with his arms:) Now if we could just get State to score a few more of these!
Little guy didn't even make it to gametime( 8pm which was late for mama too)
Aren't they adorable? Just think, next football season- he will have one in each arm and Matthew on his shoulders!

Belly growing, little jr. walking, and triathlon mania!

Enjoying our family of 3 before we become family of 5! At 24 weeks my belly is almost as big as I was full term with Matthew-what?! not sure how it's going to get much bigger but I would like for each baby to gain 4 or 5 more pounds!
He is on the move and walking so much. He still loves to crawl so he is combining both crawling and walking:) I guess I need to start putting shorts on
You can see it in his eyes- he is one happy boy! Maybe it's just me but I think he is adorable.
My triathlete won 1st place in the race this past weekend in his category. Very proud of all his hard work and how far he has come in the last year. I'll be honest though, all the training and weekend races take up alot of time and have been hard for me this pregnancy. He is training for the half iron man in October and then says he is "done" for a bit:) I feel like I'm training for an iron man- growing two babies is no joke and so much harder than I thought. I am so worn out by dinner time that I crash around 8 every night!

Matthew's friends and playdates

We have been dying to have playdates with some of my friend's and their babies- but Matthew battled strep throat and colds for like 6 weeks. Between that and his 4 back molars coming in- he had a tough little month. On top of momma getting big and Dr.'s orders are to REST- we have not been able to go and do like we would have liked. But finally we got together and Matthew was trying to show off playing peek-a-boo! Please meet the cutest babies ever below!
Berk Reed- 4 months old- adorable!
Miss Abby Glover- 5 weeks old and precious:)
Matt's best friend's from high school Jake and Jeremy and their two cute girls.
Emma Lynn is 3 months old and Miss Caroline is just a week older than Matthew!
